Vendors Policy

Welcome to IndiTemptation—a platform dedicated to promoting the rich heritage of India's tribal and indigenous craftsmanship. As a seller on our platform, here’s what you need to know:

Who Can Sell:

Individual artisans, craft groups, and cooperatives that create handmade, handloom, or natural material-based products.

What You Can Sell:

Authentic handcrafted items, including bamboo crafts, woodwork, stone carvings, textiles, ornaments, and home decor rooted in traditional practices.

Your Responsibilities:

List genuine products with clear descriptions and images. – Ensure timely order processing and safe packaging. – Maintain honesty and respect in all dealings.

Our Support:

Transparent payment system with a fair commission. – Marketing and branding support for your products and story. – Guidance with logistics, returns, and customer service.

We will cover the following expenses: a) Website hosting b) Consultancy fees c) Website maintenance fees d) Advertisement promotion e) Business promotion f) Business promotional expenses g) Legal fees h) Manpower costs.

Respect for Tradition:

We celebrate your heritage. All designs should honor your culture and community practices.

Stay Fair, Stay Safe:

Sellers involved in misleading listings, cultural misappropriation, or misconduct will be removed from the platform. By selling with us, you become part of a growing community of artisans dedicated to preserving culture through craft.

Terms, Conditions, and Responsibilities of the Vendor:

1. GST registration is required, if applicable.

2. TDS will be applicable as per the Income Tax Act.

3. The vendor must list their prices for the products offered for sale on the Indi Temptation’s platform. Our company retains full rights and responsibility to set the final price for the products displayed on our platform.

4. The vendor cannot offer lower rates to any other websites or online platforms than those provided to us, under any circumstances.

Individual Artisan Seller Agreement – IndiTemptation

By joining IndiTemptation as an individual seller, you agree to the following terms and responsibilities:

1. Who Can Sell: You must be an independent artisan or craftsperson, at least 18 years of age, and the maker or direct seller of the products you list.

2. Authentic Handcrafted Products: You promise that all products you list are handmade or hand loomed by you (or your local group), and reflect traditional skills, techniques, and materials. No machine-made, mass-produced, or outsourced items are allowed.

3. Product Ownership: You confirm that the designs, crafts, and artworks you sell are original or based on your community’s traditional knowledge, and that you have the right to sell them.

4. Respect for Culture: IndiTemptation promotes cultural preservation. Products should respectfully represent your heritage. Any misuse of cultural motifs, sacred symbols, or traditional patterns without consent may result in removal.

5. Order Fulfillment: You are responsible for safely packaging and shipping orders on time. If there is a delay or problem, you must inform us immediately so we can support you. Product should be inserted in the box as it is shown on the picture. Raise complaint whenever you feel you are not get the help from logistic department.

6. Payments and Platform Fee: IndiTemptation will transfer payments to your account after deducting a nominal service fee, as outlined in the Seller Policy. We are committed to keeping this process transparent and fair. Please note that the final pricing may differ from grassroots vendor rates, as it will include transportation and other miscellaneous costs.

7. Returns and Support: If a buyer returns a product for a valid reason (e.g., damaged or wrong item), we will guide you through the process. Cooperation is required to keep customer trust.

8. Special Note: For paintings, the delivery time should be 15 to 20 days, as artists may need to recreate the original piece. Ensuring the authenticity of handmade products is our top priority.

9. Community and Conduct: Sellers must treat buyers, fellow artisans, and the IndiTemptation team with respect. Any form of fraud, dishonesty, or abusive behavior may lead to account suspension.

10. Ending Your Account: You may leave the platform anytime.

IndiTemptation also has the right to remove a seller account if rules are broken or harmful behavior is reported.

Storage Shipping:

1. Vendor details must remain confidential, and no vendor is allowed to share their personal information directly with customers associated with Indi Temptation.

2. Before initiating any monetary transactions, we require a valid bank account (preferably a current account), an Aadhaar card, and a PAN card. All monetary transactions must be fair and transparent.

Please note: If any of the above terms and conditions are violated at any time, the registration of the vendor will be canceled.

Registration Policy:

– Third parties or brokers will not be accepted.

– There are no registration fees for this process.

– The proprietor has the sole authority to approve the registration of any vendor.

 – A comprehensive list of products is required at the time of registration. We will provide a website catalog for the vendor’s approval before uploading the products to our website, including pricing and other specifications.

Important: Any item on the list may be deleted or modified at any point in time.

Payment Policy:

Vendors will be paid their receivables within 15 to 20 days of delivery to the customers. Additionally, we will send a hard copy of the agreement that needs to be signed and returned to us.

Please ensure you make a copy of the signed agreement before sending it back.
